Reese Witherspoon was born, Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon on March 22, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Reese began modeling at the age of 7, & at the age of 14 landed her first major role in A Man on the Moon.

He put her acting career on hold to attend Stanford University, majoring in English Literature. That didn’t last long, & in 1996 he accepted roles in three motion pics, Fear & Freeway. Neither were box office hits, but they helped her land more major roles, & finally her breakthrough hit, Legally Blonde in 2001.
